Research in Motion has announced the recent BlackBerry Curve 3G will be available from Sprint on September 26th. This BlackBerry Curve 3G model 9330 will have a modest price tag of $49.99, after a $100 mail-in rebate. However, there will be an obligatory two years service contract anchored on it.

The features list of the BlackBerry Curve 3G accessory includes Full QWERTY keyboard, Optical trackpad, Supports Wi-Fi and GPS networks, 2.0 MP camera with support for video recording, 512MB of flash memory with a MicroSD/SDHC card.  In addition, the Blackberry 6 OS will be available to Sprint Blackberry Curve 3G handset formerly in 2011.

BlackBerry customers can download the podcast app through the browser or BlackBerry App World. The app is already included on phones running RIM's new BlackBerry OS 6. For growing the new service, RIM has been working with a variety of content providers, including Bloomberg, NPR, Reuters, Discovery Networks, and The Onion.
