RIM brings in New BlackBerry Pearl 3G Smartphone

A small, stylish mobile with full features will be available on BlackBerry soon. Research In Motion announced today that the Blackberry Pearl 3G is the smallest Smartphone so far and states that it has powerful 3G with flexible performance that allows customers to upgrade their traditional mobile phone to a full featured, fashionable 3G BlackBerry smartphone. It will also have many apps that are familiar and comfortable.

BlackBerry Pearl 3G Smartphone has an excellent design measuring less than two inches and weighing 3.3 ounces. Its feature includes 3.2MP camera with flash, optical trackpad, 3.2 GB storage, high speed 3G networks and GPS. The BlackBerry Pearl 3G smartphone will be available in two models with different colors. It is expected to release in May.

•    Media player with media keys.
•    First BlackBerry smartphone to support 'n' - Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n)
•    MicroSD/SDHD memory card slot that supports up to 32 GB cards
•    Support for BlackBerry Media, tri-band UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks.
•    Removable, rechargeable 1150 mAhr battery that provides approximately 5.5 hours of talk time on 3G networks.
